Day 48

Today is my last day at Transit New Zealand, all of a sudden; I kind of miss this place very much. Now that I have finally adapted myself to this surrounding, I really hope that I’m permanently working here. My desk is too empty now. I even looked like I’m not working now; I brought my cute little bag with only my purse and my phone in it. I did not bring documents around, nor did I bring a big lunch pack to gain back my energy after half day working.
Well, I think I will not have new stuff coming up today. It should be a “conclusion” chapter for me today. I have got all the stuff that I wanted; testimonials from boss, work reference from supervisor, work performance report from supervisor, my work diary (last post), work report attachments (e.g. pictures).
I had applied for the Transit Bursary a few weeks ago, and I haven’t got any reply until now. Looks like my chance of getting this bursary is not that great. Oh well, I almost totally forgotten about it not until I checked my mailbox. Probably there are people out there who are better than me. Never mind, I don’t really care whatever the outcome is. I was just trying my luck when I applied for it and I already knew that I would not get a chance to get this because I’m always bad luck in winning bursary, or any other prizes.
Well, I better run. Want to get more stuff done, for example, printing out a draft copy of my report, my schedule and dig more stuff from the Transit drive for my work report or future reference. Will have my second work experience blog in a year’s time.

Day 47

Considering today as my second last day, I would love to get everything done by today. Well, I finished the VMS updates by lunchtime, and then I headed off doing some of my report update, trying to find more attachments for my report and also think about the main purpose of every project that I involved in. Then later during the afternoon, I spent approximately 1 hour clearing up my desk by throwing away the rubbish (scrap paper) and bring home all-important papers. My desk looks so empty now. Got to go home and clear up my room. Hopefully our luggage will not be very heavy.
